Learn to Pay Attention to What Makes You Feel “OH HELL YES”
It’s going to be rad.
Ever catch yourself hitting that NO button like it's a snooze alarm? Imagine this: an opportunity for something you love pops up. You're all in, ready to jump... until the familiar 'what ifs' start whispering sweet nothings of doubt.
I can’t handle this.
I won’t be good at this.
I can’t afford that.
What if I look ridiculous?
You’re playing an old mixtape of songs of self-doubt on repeat.
You’re not alone.
Most of Gen X — especially those of us who identify as women — got the memo early on: doubt yourself first. We were taught to dial down our dreams and quiet the bold, vibrant parts of ourselves.
We may have thought of ourselves as daring when we were teenagers. But now, in our 40s and 50s, some of us curious, creative women who have always danced to our own beat? We’ve spent too much of our energy trying to fit in and tamp ourselves down.
And we’re exhausted.
We’ve put our loud, bold YES-songs mixtapes at the bottom of a box marked “the old me.”
It’s time to crank up the volume on YES.
I’m here to help you listen to what makes your body say OH HELL YES. Together, we’ll explore practical, science-backed strategies to not only revive your YES but thrive in the life you will love.
Forget the well-trodden path; we're remixing the route to radiance.
Realize that the old mixtapes of NO—echoes from a culture that doubted your worth—are ready to be remixed into a symphony of YES.
At our workshop, you'll learn neuroscience-backed techniques that prime your body and brain to embrace the moment fully.
We’ll kick things off by introducing ourselves through our joys instead of our jobs, setting the stage for a day of deep, personal connection.
Next, I’ll guide you in writing about the shoulds that have haunted you for decades. We'll share these stories and discover how similar our experiences are—you're not alone in this journey.
Then, we're turning up the volume on your 'YES' brain, tuning out the persistent 'NO' that might have started as early as the 1980s (or the '90s, for some of us). Through targeted writing exercises, you’ll draft the blueprint of the life you would love to live.
You’ll leave not only with a clear path forward but also with new friendships and practical tools to continue nurturing your YES brain.
And what better way to celebrate our newfound freedom than with a Gen X dance party? We’ll end our day by dancing together, celebrating our collective journey from doubt to dynamism.
Join us on this transformative journey—you don’t have to do this dance alone.
